WHO WE ARE: The Melrose High School Permanent Scholarship Fund.
WHAT WE DO: Help pay for the post-high school education of Melrose High School graduates.
HOW WE HELP: For more than 50 years, we have been awarding scholarships to graduating seniors of Melrose High School. In the last three years we have awarded $600,000 in scholarships to nearly 500 different graduating seniors.
The Melrose High School Permanent Scholarship Fund is a voluntary, non-profit organization primarily supported by contributions from the citizens and businesses of Melrose. It was developed by the Melrose High School PTO in 1960 and awarded its first scholarship in June of 1961.
The MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund is not directly associated with Melrose High School. Our mission is to raise and administer the funds required to award scholarships to students graduating from Melrose High School. While we work with the school to support the students, we are an independent organization.
