Chris enjoyed playing Texas hold’em, movies, the Simpsons, Red Sox and Patriots, ice fishing at Lake Winniquam in Tilton, NH, bonfires, and skeet shooting and fishing with family and friends in SAR Nova Scotia.

Christopher B. Bourque of Melrose passed away suddenly April 11, 2007 at The Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. He was only 34 years old.

 

Born on November 14, 1972 in Boston to Bruce A. & Lydia A. (Kinney) Bourque, Chris was raised in Melrose his whole life. He attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and graduated from Melrose High School, class of 1991. He received his associates Degree for North Shore Community College and worked for Lenox-Martell Beverage Company for 10 years, NorthEast Refrigeration Transport and for 2 years as a data engineer for Building Automated Systems (BAS).

Chris enjoyed playing Texas hold’em, movies, the Simpsons, Red Sox and Patriots, ice fishing at Lake Winniquam in Tilton, NH, bonfires, and skeet shooting and fishing with family and friends in SAR Nova Scotia. Eel Brook Nova Scoatia was his special place. He was a huge NASCAR fan.

He was the varsity goalie for the Melrose High School hockey team under coach Jimmy Umile.

He was the caring brother of Bryan A., Matthew J. & Justin A. Bourque, all of Melrose. Devoted grandson of Emily Burke of Nova Scotia. Cherished nephew of Peter Kinney of Lawrence, Cynthia Barbati & her husband John of Melrose & Yvette Drinkwater & her husband William of Wakefield. Cousin of Thomas, Ian, Allen & Brett.
